About My Mission

My mission is to work with you to achieve top performance, especially on the athletic field or battlefield.  I believe that anyone can get healthy and fit with a regular program of exercise and good nutrition. I know this from my own experience. I was overweight, smoked alot, and was out of shape in my younger life. I went from the bottom to a level I couldn't believe, and all after age 35! I'm proof of how you can overcome adversity and achieve results if you're serious. I can back up what I say. My Program

I'm an NASM certified personal trainer/performance enhancement specialist , experienced in competition, and completely professional.  I work with you at your pace, going step by step, using practical training, not useless showy routines . I progress you carefully to the next level, whatever your goals. Unlike most fitness trainers, with me you'll definitely be doing chi kung/ joint mobility exercises, maximal strength training, and  strength endurance training. Depending on your goals you may also do explosive work, sprints, even swimming. Skip the expensive gym and often useless gym membership, I work at your place or mine. I like the beach, track, pool or park also. Gyms can be arranged if absolutely wanted but 90% are overpriced and over hyped.I avoid machines like the plague. I use kettle bells, dumb bells, body weight, and free weights. Basic and simple, but not necessarily easy, this training produces results.While I can help anyone I  specialize in training for competitive athletes ,first responders , and real warriors. Gopal has an unconventional approach to fitness. It starts with you getting up and self motivating. He recommended sprint work which required me to do multiple sprints instead of long distance running. I incorporated his suggestions and improved my workouts. From there I did some different running workouts to include running on the track for 1/4 mile sprints. I was able to place 7th out of a group of 40 young soldiers for my Army Physical Training Test. Keep in mind that I am twice their age at 45 and most of them just returned from Basic Training. I am eagerly anticipating his class on Kettle Bells which I am totally against, but like sprints I will be pumped after

Thanks Gopal for helping me with getting this old body back in shape. With swimming and the weight exercises you recommended, slowly but surely I am feeling better about my body's shape. I'll keep working. Oh, and also I'll watch my sugar intake. Thanks for everything.
